How to be successful?

🌟

To be a star, you must burn. You’ll shine the brightest on your darkest days because you are still fucking awesome.

So stop wishing for it and start working for it.

You have to step into discomfort now if you want to feel true comfort later.

Every decision you make today shapes your tomorrow.

Every second you waste is time you’ll wish you could get back.

I don't get lucky. I make my own luck

Now, I know what some of you are thinking: “This just sounds like a crapload of quotes that can be found anywhere on the internet.” And you’re right. But here’s the difference: everything I’ve written here isn’t just empty motivation. Each line represents a stage in your life, a moment you’ll face on the way to your version of success.

🌱

Let’s begin with those who have no idea what they truly want. Those who aspire to succeed but have no clue what their goals are. Now, don’t fall into the trap of thinking that just because you aren’t part of that group of people who seem to have “everything figured out,” you’re destined to settle for goals you don’t even care about. Living a life or pursuing a profession that sparks no passion in you. If that’s where you end up, then that’s on you.

Right now, you’re simply sitting in the comfort of familiarity, looking out the window at people who appear to be chasing exactly what they’ve always wanted. But let me ask you this—have you ever truly stepped outside and explored? The only reason you haven’t settled on an interest yet because you’re meant to discover something rare. Something that only a small fraction of people would ever stumble upon. If you’re ready to find that field, then why remain stuck at home?

So yes, step out of your comfort zone.  It might feel hard to leave a place you know, but the greater the discomfort, the greater the growth. I promise that one day, you’ll look back and realize it wasn’t that deep because by then you’d have created a new comfort for yourself, and you won’t regret making this choice.

How do you explore? Start by meeting people. Ask them about what they do. Notice where your curiosity is naturally drawn. And trust me if you think it would be awkward, it’s not. People love talking about their passions. If you’re not ready for conversations yet, then observe. Study what people do. Research their fields. Read stories of how successful individuals discovered their path. And before you know it, you’ll find something too. Even if it’s small, something will capture your attention. And not only that you’ll grow socially as well. Because after all the research and curiosity you’ve invested will make you be able to connect, even if just a little with almost anyone’s profession.

You have to step into discomfort now if you want to feel true comfort later.

🚀

Let’s say you already have a vision for your dream life. You know exactly what you want. So is that it?The fact that you have such clear version of life makes you lucky because so many others are still searching for the clarity you already have.

But clarity isn’t enough. Now you need a plan. And more importantly, you need execution.

Stop dreaming. Stop wishing. Stop being delusional.
Start working. Start putting blood, sweat, and tears. Start working hard for that dream life

So stop wishing for it and start working for it.

Okay so you’ve got your plan. Maybe you’re even putting in some effort. But how much? Do you tell yourself you’ll start later because there’s still time?

Say its a new semester and you want a 4.8 GPA, but the exams are months away, so you decide to coast until the end and just counting on the effort you put on the last few weeks? That doesn’t work. You can’t dream big and work small. If you have 5 free hours and spend just 1 hour studying while losing another to scrolling reels, ask yourself: where are your priorities? Is wasting your time really worth it?

Every decision matters. Every moment on Instagram is a choice that you make taking you further away from your dream. Every second you waste will be a second you can never get back. I’m not saying don’t take breaks. But if you’re going to rest, do something that fuels you—play a sport, take a run, or spend time with family and friends. Because let’s be honest: what do you really learn from reels? You’ve wired your brain to crave them. So rewire it.

Success doesn’t come from obsessing over one thing it comes from building yourself in small ways, too. From hobbies, relationships, and experiences that make you whole. Trust me, this is what every successful person does. Success doesn't only mean your dream proffession, it only includes happiness.

Every decision you make today shapes your tomorrow.
Every second you waste is time you’ll wish you could get back.

This next quote inspired by the famous TV show Suits. Think about what it means for you. Interpret it in your own way. That’s how you can grow, by making meaning out of it for yourself.

I don't get lucky. I make my own luck

💫

If you’ve made it this far, then trust me you’re already a star. Right now, you may simply be a star shining in a sky so bright that you haven’t yet been noticed. But success isn’t easy. It tests who you truly are. It challenges whether you have the strength to keep pursuing that dream life. It’s completely normal to face setbacks, to stumble, and to fall. But listen, if you take your setbacks as a sign to quit, then you’ve already failed the test. Every success story has its dark chapters, because every time you rise after falling, you come back stronger. Yes, it’s a common saying but it’s true. Each setback builds resilience. Each fall makes your mind stronger. Strong enough to refuse to let go.

Sometimes, success simply takes time. Every minute of effort you invest will one day bloom into something beautiful. On that day, when you rise and shine, no one will even imagine that you once faced setbacks. Not even you, you’ll end up being proud of yourself for never giving up. So, no matter what, don’t quit. The harder the journey gets, the closer you are to your dream. Think of it as the final test, the test of whether you truly love your profession, but more importantly, whether you truly love yourself. Are you willing to throw away all your hard work, or will you stay firm and push through for your own sake?

Let me share a story. Currently, one of the world’s highest paid supermodels is Kendall Jenner. She’s admired for her beauty and presence. But as a teenager, she struggled with acne. And let's be honest that wouldn't have been very appealing to any modeling agency. This could have easily crushed her dream of becoming a model. Yet, she didn’t give up. She searched for the cause, and eventually discovered it was dairy. She loved cheese and it was hard to let go but she did make that sacrifice. This setback could have stopped her, but instead, she chose to rise above it. And she came back as one of the strongest.

That’s the truth about setbacks, they don’t weaken you; they forge you into something greater. They can make you the best. So if the path you’re walking feels painful, remember—it’s normal. And if it becomes unbearable, you don’t have to quit the journey altogether. Change the path. There are always multiple routes to the same destination. Just because you chose the car doesn’t mean you can’t take the subway. And who knows? You may even discover a shortcut, the equivalent of taking a plane, that gets you there even faster.

All you need is faith. Hope. And the courage not to give up. Because this is for you. For the version of you who once sat dreaming of reaching this place. And maybe, just maybe that “someday” is tomorrow. So hold on. Don’t quit. Because if you give up now, regret will be far heavier than any setback you face today.

To be a star, you must burn. You’ll shine the brightest on your darkest days because you are still fucking awesome.

❄️

Here’s something to think about from the book Atomic Habits:

Ice stays solid at -30°C, -25°C, -20°C, -10°C, -5°C, and even -1°C. But at 0°C, it melts.

From -30°C to 0°C, heat was being applied constantly even though we couldn’t see a visible change. But it mattered. Because without all those invisible steps, the breakthrough wouldn’t happen.

That’s life. Progress is invisible until suddenly it isn’t.

I hope this helps you get some clairty on your future. :)
